The Community Behavioral Health Hospital (CBHH) in Baxter has an opening for a talented Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. Operated by the Minnesota Department of Human Services, the CBHH is a small inpatient psychiatric facility that provides rapid assessment and stabilization for adults experiencing an acute mental health episode. As the Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide nursing care, treatment, and instruction to patients in a hospital level of care setting under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Complete daily nursing cares including administering and monitoring medications and treatments to ensure medical responsibilities are accomplished. Develop therapeutic relationships and engage with patients while prioritizing safety and aiding patients in progressing with their treatment plan goals and objectives Maintain and provide a safe, clean, and therapeutic work environment for treatment.

To qualify, applicants must: • Possess licensure in Minnesota as a Practical Nurse.

• Patient care experience within a mental health or behavioral health setting. • Experience working with adults in a treatment setting. • Experience working in a secure facility.
