Registered Nurse Supervisor- Forensic Nursing Home
The Registered Nurse Supervisor provides supervision in the coordination and delivery of nursing care provided to clients at Forensic Nursing Home. This position serves as a leader and resource person for nursing staff and other employees and uses the nursing process as a guideline to ensure that staff are providing an appropriate level of skilled clinical nursing care. In addition, this position is responsible for: Participate in establishing and coordinating the implementation of the mission, philosophy, goals, and objectives, and standards of practice, care and performance for nursing care within Forensic Nursing Home. Participate in maintaining adequate and appropriate staffing levels in Forensic Nursing Home.
To qualify, you must have current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Minnesota; AND • Bachelor’s degree in nursing, plus three (3) years of Registered Nurse experience, including at least two (2) years as a charge Registered Nurse; OR • Associate degree or diploma in nursing, plus four (4) years of Registered Nurse experience, including at least two (2) years as a charge Registered Nurse.

Those crossing Appointing Authorities may be required to successfully complete a physical assessment form, provide education documentation (high school diploma, GED, college transcript, or college degree) and provide documented proof of freedom from tuberculosis completed within the last year.
