The Behavioral Services Supervisor is responsible for oversight and supervision of Behavior Assistants. This individual helps ensure the availability and access of quality programming for patients with complex and co-occurring disorders involving mental health, substance use and medical conditions in collaboration with clinical supervisors, directors and other staff members. This position will be involved in hospital wide initiatives including substance use support, patient grievances, Hospital Review Board, and other as needed volunteer services. This position influences hospital services, policies and procedures and will involve representation as the chairperson/co-chairperson of several committees and work groups at AMRTC. Primary Responsibilities Include: • Hiring, interviewing, oversight, supervision, and training of Behavior Assistants • Work to grow the skill set and confidence of the individuals supervised in effort to enhance services to clients, retain excellent employees, and create a positive environment for the staff in the area of treatment planning • Provide guidance, consultation, and project management support of treatment planning, programming and program development • Coordination and contract management of a variety of client-focused services

Licensure in the State of MN (LICSW, LPCC, LMFT, LP, or BCBA) AND Three (3) years of post-licensure experience providing behavioral health clinical services. AND Demonstrated leadership experience which may include any of the following: • Experience as a supervisor, team lead, lead worker, OR project lead* • Completion of a State leadership development program, such as Emerging Leaders Institute (ELI) or Senior Leadership Institute (SLI) • Completion of a similar or equivalent leadership development program through another organization • A paid or unpaid position leading a program or chairing a committee, such as an Employee Resource Group (ERG) which the experience must also include: o 1+ years of identifying issues, goals, and strategic actions o 100+ hours per year time commitment *A project lead provides leadership, guidance, and advanced specialized technical expertise for a team doing evaluation, development, design, testing, and/or implementation in a project environment.
