Direct Care and Treatment (DCT) is seeking an individual to join the DCT Finance Team for an exciting and rewarding opportunity as a DCT Revenue Cycle Quality Assurance Analyst! As the DCT Revenue Cycle Quality Assurance Analyst, you will focus on auditing, monitoring, and assessing key areas of the revenue cycle, including billing, coding, insurance verification, and claims processing. The goal is to identify areas of improvement and ensure adherence to regulatory and payer requirements.
Primary responsibilities:
• Focus on conducting audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with billing and coding processes.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the organization complies with all relevant healthcare regulations, payer-specific requirements, and internal policies.
• Prepare and present audit reports and conduct analysis to drive improvements in the revenue cycle.
• Focus on collaborating with other teams and assisting in training staff to ensure quality and compliance in the revenue cycle.

Active certification as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
AND
Three (3) years of experience in revenue cycle management, billing and/or coding, which demonstrates the following:
• Experience in healthcare regulations, payer contracts, and compliance standards (HIPPA, Medicare, Medicaid).
• Experience working with revenue cycle management software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively share knowledge, collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field.
• Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA), Certified Revenue Cycle Specialist (CRCSP) or other related certifications.
• Experience in leading or participating in initiatives to improve revenue cycle processes.
• Familiarity with MN-ITS, Avatar, Dentrix and other healthcare payer systems.
• Experience developing and delivering training programs on billing and coding processes.
